Wife and pastor plotted murder of Bloemfontein farmer’s murder

Like the plot for a movie, it has come to light that the wife of the murdered Bloemfontein farmer allegedly planned his death with the help of the prophet from the church they attended every Sunday.

Free State Police told News24 that 51-year-old Kelebongile Louisa Mokoena was arrested on July 10, after being linked to the murder of her husband, Ntau Lucas Mokoena.

Romantic involvement

It is alleged that there is a romantic link between Kelebongile and the Livingston Revival Ministries prophet, Elvis Sonnyboy Galeboe, aged 31.

Galeboe was arrested on Friday while on his way from East London to Bloemfontein and expected to appear in court with Kelebongile on Thursday.

The due conspired to the murder and employed the services of hitmen to carry it out.

Shot by hitmen

Police spokesperson, Colonel Thandi Mbambo said the well-known businessman allegedly arrived at his Schenagel Street home in Fichardtpark at 21:35 on July 8, to find his wife in the main bedroom.  He then went into the bathroom where he was met by two armed men.

A scuffle broke out and he was dragged back into the bedroom where he was shot in the head, in front of his wife.

Volksblad reported that Mokoena’s wife is said to have poisoned her dogs and then left the gate and front door open to give the three hitmen easy access to the property.

The suspects then left in the deceased’s vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money and cellphones.

Galeboe was allegedly the link between Mokoena’s wife and the hitmen.

It is alleged that she made a deposit for the hit the night before the murder and was intending on settling the balance after the plan was executed.

The stolen vehicle was abandoned in Lourier Park.
