Smit’s farm attack investigation in advanced stage

Western Cape Community Safety MEC Albert Fritz said that following three incidents of farm attacks in the Winelands area over the last week they are in an advanced stage of investigations.

The most resent attack occurred last Sunday when Stefan Smit was shot and killed on his Louiesenhof Wine Estate.

A rural technical safety team was set up to handle any farm attacks.
