Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema began a long day of campaigning in KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday which included a tiring Metrorail train trip.
During his campaign, Malema sang and danced on the crowded train with commuters, visited street vendors in the main streets of Umlazi and ended the day with a rally at the Durban University of Technology (DUT).
Shortly thereafter rumours began to spread that the party leader had been taken to hospital for emergency treatment.
There has been no official statement from the party representatives or any details regarding the illness.
There was speculation that he had been admitted to a private hospital in Umhlanga, Durban, but it is unclear as to whether the story is fake news.
Juju responded to a Twitter post stating that he is not in hospital and will be continuing his campaign in Mgugundlovu, in KZN on Wednesday.
