The man who was ‘resurrected’ has mysteriously died

Zimbabwean man, Elliot Brighton Moyo who became known as the “resurrected man” is reported to have died in mysterious circumstances.

IOL reported that Moyo’s family suspect he was poisoned in food as before his death he bled from his nose and mouth.

Moyo became famous when videos spread across social media showing him being raised from the dead by pastor Alph Lukau at the Alleluia Ministries International Church in Sandton, Johannesburg in February.

Moyo’s real name has since been revealed as Thabiso Proud Mlanje who died on April 3 and was buried in Dandanda village.

When Mlanje arrived home to Zimbabwe he was very ill and unable to talk.  His brother had many questions he wanted to ask about the resurrection stunt, but decided to wait until Mlanje was well.

Unfortunately he suffered painfully, vomiting blood before he died at this father-in-law’s home.

Mlanje’s grandmother told Zimbabwe’s B-Metro tabloid that she wanted to know what happened in South Africa because she heard he had died and three days later he was resurrected.

Vincent Amoretti, Mlanje’s former boss at Vincent Amoretti Timber and Construction said there are so many bad people around, he hopes that this is just a bad joke.

The SAPS have not been made aware of his death and are in the process of investigation for fraud. The case was opened by the funeral parlours.
