Naas Botha and Nick Mallet have been cleared of racism after investigation following studio Ashwin walkout.

JOHANNESBURG-Both Naas Botha and Nick Mallett have been cleared of racism allegations following the dramatic May 19th studio walk out and racist allegations made by Ashwin Willemse.

Advocate William Maleka’s report found that neither of the two accused presenters exhibited any form of intended, unintended or subtle racism against Willemse.

Willemse had said on live TV that he was being labelled a “quota player” and refused to be “patronised by two individuals who played in an apartheid / segregated era”.

Willemse then went on to say he “can’t work with people who undermine other people” and that he was “glad it happened on live TV so that people can see”.
