Cape Town disaster management on high alert as it monitors weather.

CAPE TOWN – Following a series of events such as thunder storms, flooding, mudslides and strong winds Cape Town Disaster Management remains on high alert.

Trees have been blown over destroying power lines and five schools have been damaged.

South African Weather forecast says temperatures have dropped overnight.

“We should be touching 13, 14 degrees Celsius by 8 o’clock.”

A cold front is currently settling over Cape Town.
